Elected/appointed/government officials lacking ethics

If an elected/appointed/government official takes even a stick of gum, he/she has no ethics.

No gifts! No perks! No payoffs! Nada!

Once beholden, always beholden.

Thicker skin

It's a shame that people in the US of A have such thin skin and can't handle being called a name.

Sticks and stone may break my bones but words can neverf hurt me.

If you can't handle being called a perjorative, why don't you go crawl under a rock a die!

There is nothing you can call me that can affect me. But in today's world people all suffer from a lack of ego and an inability to define themselves. People seem to be defined by and need approval from others. Hell, nobody's opinion matters mut my own. The rest are full of it.

Less that 20 years ago, people could sepak their minds. People could call others names and for the most part we gpt along. The government gets into it and passes laws (unconstitutional of course because the federal govenrnment was never given power over commerce among individuals) that punish people for things they say.

Get a thicker skin. Quit worrying about what other people think of you. Other people's opinions really don't matter.

Just a place to voice my opinion

Where to start?

The lack of morals in our society.
The ignorance of our populace.
The ignorance of our elected servants.
Multiculturalism and the decline of society.
The failure of our schools.
Illegal immigration.
Stupid congresscritters.
Our idolization of know-nothing court jesters.
Our infatuation with persons who play sports and our denigration of those who actually provide
something for our future.
Bad drivers.
The socialization of everything.
The lack of freedom to speak one's mind, even if what one says is hurtful, bigoted, stupid, or what
have you.
Out of control King's men (and women), i.e. government agents.
Government intervention and control in every facit of life.
Lack of responsibility taken.

A lot of other stuff!
