Congress' subpoena power

Duh! Where is it? It's not inthe Constitution? Then they must have made it up. What a bunch of lying bastards!

Here's how it works in the US. All power, all sovereignty lies in the people. No government has any inherent power.

Note: This differs from the rest of the world and is what sets the
US apart from the world. Now, those in power do not want to abide
by this truism and so they lie, cheat, and steal in order to get the
power their greedy little hearts desire.

So, the People come together, either individually or through a smaller number of representatives and develop a set of rules by which the government is to operate. These rules are self-limiting, in that all that is not delegated explicitly is withheld. Withheld power continues to reside in the people until such time as a majority agree to delegate that power to government. Without a specific delegation, the government does not have the authority to exist a particular power.

So in the case of Congress' subpoena power, where is the delegation? It's not there. Congress does not have any authority to subpoena people or to punish people who refuse to come before Congress to testify. There are no implied powers. That is proven by the limited list of powers delegated in the Constitution IF you are smart enough to see it. If you are not, you should go suck a gun barrel and pull the trigger for you are worthless.

When the government runs your life

When the government runs your life --

-- there's no longer any need to be responsible. The government will make it a law and you will have no choice. For those of you who have run away from God, it's too bad. Even God gives you freedom to choose. One does not have to live a life as God would have you live. You are free to choose.

But look at the US. Once upon a time people in the US were responsible for themselves. People looked after themselves, dealt with their problems themselves, fed themselves. Look at today. The people can'teven wipe their own asses without government help. Yes, that toilet tissue is regulated just for you.

To hell with that. Anyone who is more than 50 years old knows that the government has stolen nearly all your freedoms. The government has made most people into mushrooms. They live in the dark and are fed bullshit. Look at yourself honestly. Are you willing to say no to the myriad of government programs? Will you tell the government to shove the social security check up its ass?

The government runs nearly every facet of your life. The government owns you.

I'll bet not.

If it only saves one life .......

Shoot the bastard and kick the rest of the illegals out.

There are borders for a reason. There are borders for a purpose. The illegals coming across our borders are not professors, doctors, lawyers. They are generally the dregs, useless, worthless persons. If they had any use, their own country would find it.

On the bandwagon

Funny how it has become commonplace for folks to be yelling about the government and violations of the Constitution. I began driving the bandwagon that these Johnny-come-latelies have jumped on bakc in 1993. Where the hell have they all been?

Where policy is made??????? What? Just where in the Constitution is that power delegated.

Well now we have another ignorant wretch headed for the supreme Court. "Where policy is made!" Total bullshit. The Courts are not empowered to set policy. The legitimate power of the courts is to say simply "Yes, the law meets constitutional muster." or "No, the law is unconstitutional." No further explanation. No elucidation of "principles". No expansion by reading between the lines. These appointees work FOR us. They are not OVER us. People, if you don't stand up for your Rights, you WILL lose them. For too long, the People of the United States have flailled around like fish out of water. The People of the United States buried their heads in the sand but forgot that the butts were in the air ripe for a screwing.

The judges ARE NOT in charge. We the People are. It's high time you all got off your asses and did something. Most of you are not even worth the air you are using up. Your ignorance is so great it will take a life time to even begin getting your head straight. You've been lied to, you've been brain-washed and you sit there like a mushroom, happy in a pile of horse shit.

Coequal branches of government - Another big lie!!!

Over and over, one hears that we have three coequal branches of government. Most recently our illustrious head butler referred to Congress and the courts are coequal branches.

Where did this lie originate? I have no idea nor do I care. What concerns me is the lie that this idea carries.

First, our federal government IS composed of three branches, the legislative, the executive, and the judicial. Second, these branches are in no way created equal in authority. The Constitution itself provides the evidence for those who have eyes to see and ears to hear.

Lets look at the formation, representation, and powers of each branch. First we'll take the legislative branch. The members of this branch are selected directly by the people. All laws related to all power enumerated in the Constitution must come directly from Congress. (Currently, Congress has breached the trust of the people by allowing "law" in the form of rules and regulations to be created by others but this actuality does not change the legalities.) Congress has the power to halt any and all president appointments. Congress has the power to override any presidential veto. Congress has the power to remove the president from office through impeachment. Congress has power over all treaties.

Next look at the president. Within the president's power are the power to act as commander and chief of the military BUT Congress makes the rules and regulations governing the military and the president may only carry them out. The president may veto legislation but the president can't stop the override. The president cannot remove any legislator from office. The president can submit the names of appointees BUT the president cannot fully confirm those nominees except in the special case of Congress being out of session and even then when Congress returns to session, approval from Congress is necessary for permanency. The president cannot declare or start a war. He can only carry forward Congress' orders.

Now look at the judiciary. What can they legitimately do? They cannot remove anyone from office. While they can declare legislation to be unconstitutional, they cannot legally legislate. All judges may be removed by the Congress. All courts must follow the rules the Congress makes with respect to appellate jurisdiction. Original jurisdiction, where the supreme Court acts solely under the Constitution, is short, simple, and extremely limited. All inferior courts are created by Congress and may just as easily be eliminated by Congress. All inferior courts are subject entirely to legislation passed by Congress.

Thus the most powerful branch is Congress, the branch of the People. Next in line of power is the Presidency with it 10 or so powers. Lastly, the judicial branch rears is puny head, being the weakest of all the branches. The judiciary are subject to the whims of both the other branches even though the judiciary, but only the supreme Court, hold their office during "good behaviour". What constitutes "good berhaviour" is still subject to determination by the People or the People's representatives, the Congress.

Three coequal branches, not on your life. A system of interrelationships with the power to override placed in the hands of those closest to the People, you bet!

Where to start?

I am continually working to educate others about the excesses of our government. IMO, 99% of what our government currently does is unconstitutional. Ours is/was a government solely of delegated authority. The 10th Amendment was added to clarify this point. If the power is not delegated the federal government does not have it. What happened? Stupidity. Ignorance. The People have been educated in a system where the government controls what is taught. There is an agenda being used to control the People and the People sit there like turnips absorbing the bullshit. Joe Public is pleased with himself. He has his beer, his NASCAR, and his girly mags. All is well in America.

Once upon a time, it was recognized that an educated population was necessary to maintain a free state. But education is much more than schooling. Education implies deep thought, an ability to crtically analyze information and form a valid opinion. People today can't do that. People today have a difficult time deciding which side of the bread to butter. Ignorance is rampant and the inmates are in charge of the asylum.

Let's pick a single topic where YOU have been brainwashed. That topic is the idea that the United States is a "nation". I offer $1000 to the first person who can find the US referred to as a nation in the Constitution. The US is not a nation and never was. The US is a Union of 50 free and independent nations. Why do most people think the US is a nation? Because most people were taught the Pledge of Allegiance, a pledge that was forced on the people as children in order to incuulcate certain beliefs in the minds of the mindless. And so a lie told often enough and loud enough becomes truth.

R U all just stupid or what?????

I've spent more than 15 yrs studying the Constitution for the United States. Anyone who can read can study the Constitution easily. Yet as I read the many "constitutional scholars" on the web, I see that most still have their heads up their arse. It is NOT a complex issue. There are no hidden statements. There is no reading between the lines. There are no implied powers. Lies, lies, and more lies have been told to the people. The people have their heads in the sand and have no balls. People will not stand up.

Now is the time to vote against ALL incumbents. NEVER again shall you vote for ANYONE in office.

It is a sad state of affairs in the Union. 99.99999% of the People don't know Jack Shit about the Constitution or the proper function of the government. If you are reading this, it's a good bet you are one of the 99.99999% of the idiots.

I'd try to fully explain it to you but I doubt you have the IQ to understand. You need an IQ of at least 3 for that task.

Christian Roots in the Constitution

All too often one hears that the US in not a Christian nation. Of course, this is true. No nation can be Christian but a nation can be based on Christian tenets and Christian ideals.

The United States of America is such a nation.

Recently while in Turkey President Obama made a statement concerning the United States that "we do not consider ourselves a christian nation." Is he correct? Possibly. But there are many, and most likely a majority that disagree with him. I am one of those.

The Constitution for the United States of America contains the evidence that Christianity was the center of our governing documents. Yes, the current First Amendment keeps Congress from making any law respecting an establishment of religion and other sections prohibit religious oaths, the Constitution itself contains undeniable evidence of the core Christian ideals espoused in the document.

That evidence lies within Article I, section 7, paragraph 2 wherein it is stated, "If any Bill shall not be returned by the President within ten Days (Sundays excepted) after it shall have been presented to him, the Same shall be a Law, in like Manner as if he had signed it, unless the Congress by their Adjournment prevent its Return, in which Case it shall not be a Law." Some will have to study long and hard to determine just where in this snippet of the Constitution lies the proof of the Christian inheritance of the our government. Some will see the proof instantly.

The proof lies in the simple statement, "(Sundays excepted)". There is but one reason for "Sundays excepted" and that is that Sunday is the Christian sabbath, a holy day set aside for rest. No religion other than Christianity uses Sunday as a special day, not judaism, not Islam, not Deism. The Framers specifically knew that the exception was based on Christian doctrines and that the President should/would most likely be a Christian. Thus the one day that is required as a day of rest under the Christian Bible, is left as a special day even in the so-called nonChristian Constitution for the United States of America.

Why we don't need substantive due process

Substantive due process is a creation of the courts. It is an expansion of the general due process clause wherein due process of the law is required before certain things can happen. Substantive due process expands the legal due process to Rights or more correctly privileges and immunities. The primary use of SDP has been under the court-created Doctrine of Incorporation using the 14th Amendment to bind State behavior. But this binding has been filled with holes and is an ever-changing set of bonds. The Courts expand and contract substantive due process based on whim. Yet why is SDP even necessary? SDP has become a necessity because those we select to serve us have forgotten two basic things. First they serve US, the People. Second, at ALL governmental levels, federal, state, and local, unless a particular power is delegated to that specific body BY the People subject to that governmental entity, the governmental entiy does not have the legitimate authority to exercise such power. In the case of Rights, Right are granted to individuals by their Creator. Rights are not subject to governmental control ever. Rights may not be given up nor may they be legitimately taken away. Rights are inalienable.

When one fails to adhere to the concept of a government limited in scope and allowed to exercise only those powers expressly delegated by the People, one fails to adhere to a valid and proper paradigm. Becuase the government has only those powers which are expressly delegated and absolutely no authority over Rights was delegated or has been delegated, the government may not infringe or otherwise control individual Rights. Because all persons have the same set of Rigfhts and those Rights are equal in all persons, no person has the authority to impact another person's Right or Rights without the other person's permission.

The government has no authority to determine what a Right is or is not. The government is subordinate, it is not a Creator of Rights.

The government may grant privileges and/or immunities but those privileges and immunities are restricted to privileges and immunities related explicitly to the delegated powers and can only be exercies with an express delegation of the authority to provide privileges and/or immunities from We the People. Without a specific delegation of authority, the government has no legitimacy is enacting privilege and immunity statutes.

The United States of America are not sovereign. The United States of America are not in charge. The United States of America receive all authority to govern from the governed. No authority or action other than what is written expressly in the contract, known as the Constitution for the United States of America, is lawful, ethical, or moral for the government to exercise.

So the government has no authority to decide what is or is not a Right. The government has no authority to infringe on Rights ever because the Creator and not government is the source of Rights and Rights are inalienable.
